- The picture is me with my son, a Ron Paul supporter. I am enrolled to practice before the IRS. I will be taking the CPA exam this spring. I am an adjunct instructor of accounting and English at the local community college. I have lived all my life in SC. I am amazed at the outpouring of sentiment around the country for the libertarian message. I actually participated in the Libertarian Party in the 90's. I also ran for Mayor of Rock Hill SC in 1994 and 1997.
I would like to meet up with like minded libertarian thinkers and activists in the Charlotte NC area. Because I am chair of the local election board, I cannot be involved in partisan politics. I do not at the present time even vote in party primaries.
I am seriously considering getting involved in partisan politics after the 2008 elections. I am intrigued with the new idea of decentralized campaigns. Technology has enabled this to happen.
