Preserving Liberty Everywhere

This past week I have seen some interesting things relating to our American flag. I have heard, and I think two or three months ago I saw a picture of this, that someone had a Soviet Union flag at a Hillary Clinton rally somewhere. Then this week I saw they had a flag at one of her rallies with the stars upside down.

Personally I'm not sure if either of those things were intentional, but I do think that there is a group, whether it be some billionaires, masons, skulls, the CFR, or whatever, that is working against America's best interest for their own interest, and that they probably do some things mocking America when they're around each other, but I'm not sure if stuff like this is some big secret or not still.

I also saw that the flag might be put on backwards on soldiers uniforms too? I find that very strange, but maybe its some old tradition that has some logical reason I guess.

Since I'm on the topic of flags strangely enough, I wanted to bring up South Carolina's Confederate flag as well. I don't think the federal government should have any right to say anything about it. It has to do with the state, not the country, so I don't find any logical reason as to why the entire country should be involved in deciding the issue, or where the authority to make a decision on such a matter would come from.

I am however not exactly sure where I would take my stand on the issue. I completely agree and understand how the Confederate flag is the symbol of the Southern states' oppression of people, and its undermining of civil liberties. On the other side I fully agree and understand that flying the flag on the state capital is symbolic of the sovereignity of the states first and before the Union of the states. I would as of right now be forced to side with the majority of the people in South Carolina on this issue if I was in the situation to decide on it, because I would not be sure of which side would be more correct since I see very good things about both sides. So I would have to agree with the majority opinion on the issue if it did happen to come up again I suppose, whatever that opinion would be.

So my questions or points I am making are these:

1. What do you make of someone holding a Soviet Union flag at a Clinton rally?
2. What do you make of the Clinton campaign hanging a flag with the stars upside down at a rally?
3. Are flags really worn backwards on soldiers' uniforms, and if so why? And what do you think about it?
4. Do you think that South Carolina has a right to fly the Confederate flag over its capital?
5. Do you think it is right or wrong for South Carolina to fly the Confederate flag over its capital? Or even on the same property? (The current situation[The flag is flown near the capital, but not over it])
6. What do you make of the Confederate flag being called symbolic of states' rights and/or slavery?

7. Also, what is that flag called the Civil flag that has stripes up and down and kind of reversed colors about?

1. I think you are over-analyzing this. They are just misinformed youth supporting the communist/socialist agenda. No big threat here.

2. I would have to see some hard evidence here. I'm sure if this is true, it would be all over the news. An upside-down flag is considered disrespectful and is often seen streaming from the far-left leaning protesters and activists.

3. Yes, I've seen this too. It really doesn't mean anything, as far as I know. The American flag can be viewed either way.

4. Yes, I think they have a right to do so. People, however, also have a right to disagree with this.

5. It is fine with me. Flags are just symbols and can mean different things for different people.

6. As I said above, its meaning changes from person to person.

7. To me, this flag is a sign of patriotic rebellion.

1. I don't think Clinton was involved with the Soviet flag at her campaign, I pretty much agree with what you are saying for that. It does show what kind of support she has though, dumb and/or communist/socialist thinking people.

2. It wasn't an upside-down flag, only the stars were upside down. It was probably a mistake made on the flag when it was made, and no one noticed while it was being put up at Clinton's rally.

7. I had just not ever seen that flag before and wondered what it was.
