Liberty Candidates
Hey Friends,
I'm with y'all on the Liberty Congress, here's my take on it.
How the Liberty Candidates can retake congress.
1. Run Dem and/or Rep- the whole D vs R as it is now is used to divide and conquer. What we need to win is The Truth. It doesn't matter if you're a D or R, speaking the truth about Iraq, Patriot Act, Fascism, etc is what really matters.
Ideally- we would have a real Candidate running in both parties. it could be viewed as divide and conquer, but it would also be a platform to educate Americans, not just one party, but all Americans.
2. Running as Liberty Joe against Big $$ Hoser is impossible. Especially when you Know the state parties are all run by big money. Dirty tricks and the like will be used against you.
3. EVERYONE knows 'the system' is broke, the career politicians are all sellouts. To win- we should run on a united platform- 435 citizens united to Kick Them All Out.
We could create an internet buzz eventually forcing the MSM to cover us- make this idea ubiquitous across America, people asking who is your Peace Candidate?
4. To make this work, we don't need lawyers and career politicians, we need regular Americans like You to run for Congress. We need real candidates in every district in every state. You don't need to quit your job, this can be an internet only campaign.
5. This can work because we have the truth on our side- it's time to stop allowing ourselves to be divided, time to unite behind the truth. If we pooled our resources, we could create materials for all, informational flyers, videos, etc... because if people knew the truth, they would vote for us. It's our job to inform them.
Think about it- we know Bush, Pelosi, etc are openly defying their sworn oaths to uphold the Constitution- we should collaborate online to create a "How the current Congress has betrayed America" tutorial, with all the facts to expose the corporate whores. This can be used to inform the populace in every state.
Imagine the word getting out- 'there's a movement to boot the entire congress, that's the only way we'll ever fix the system.' This idea could catch fire- but we need your help.

** ps- we cannot wait for the primaries to finish- we've got to find and recruit real Candidates now- the deadlines are fast approaching (4 passed already)

Yeah its a very good idea to try to get a liberty candidate running in every race on both the democratic and republican side. We would have a much better chance of winning nominations that way, and if both candidates got nominated then we would have a win-win situation.
I wish I was old enough to run for office, but I will do what I can to help this process just like I have with Ron Paul.
